Found Owner Built Design searching the internet looking to remodel a house in Kailua. Wanted to begin planning remotely as we currently live in California. We have done a few remodels in our lives and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. Found architect Jim Kane easy to contact and discuss how we wanted to approach the remodel. Currently in the initial stages of establishing what is there and how extensive the remodel is going to be. Jim has so far been very responsive and professional and we look forward to our remote “Team” meetings. Hoping to get a the permitting in process before we arrive in Hawaii in a few months to supervise the remodel. So far we are very happy with his work!
